Melissa - Office Coordinator

Melissa has the distinction of having been with Austin Park Dental the longest. She has been an integral part of our dental family since 1997.  Our patients always look for Melissa when they come for their appointments not only because of her friendliness but also because she is so knowledgeable about dental insurance and can help with treatment and financial questions.  Once you come in, you’ll see why everyone loves Melissa so much.  She has a son and daughter who always have something for Melissa to do when she’s not at work.

Tina - Treatment/Financial Coordinator

 

Tina, is our treatment coordinator.  She always knows just how to explain treatment options to our patients and help them to fit their treatment into their budgets.  She has a love of people and is the perfect person to help our patients plan to achieve their dental health.  Tina is working on her bachelor’s degree in education at Stark State College and is always working to find ways to grow as a person. Tina and her children are excited to include her new husband, John, and his daughter to their family.

 

Theresa - Registered Dental Hygienist

Theresa, a registered dental hygienist, is a graduate of Stark State College in 2005.  She was a dental assistant before and during her education. She finds her career very rewarding and takes great pride in helping her patients to attain the healthiest mouths possible and keeping them comfortable in the process.  Her husband, Kevin, and her two adorable daughters give her plenty to do when she is at home.

Betsy - Dental Assistant

Betsy has been a part of the Austin Park Dental team since 2002.  Most of our patients remember her friendly smile from working in the business office.  She was excited to expand her horizons and learn more about dentistry firsthand.  She now assists Dr. Lynn with patient care and there’s no turning back.  She loves it.  When Betsy isn’t at work, she keeps busy with her husband, Bill, and playing outside with her three wonderful children.

Kelly - Registered Dental Hygienist

Kelly, one of our registered dental hygienists, joined the Austin Park Dental team way back in 2006.  She graduated from Youngstown State University and then went on to the Ohio State University to complete her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene Education.  Not only does Kelly work full-time with Drs. Bruce and Lynn, she also teaches dental hygiene at Stark State University.  When Kelly and her husband Matt are not busy rooting on the Buckeyes, they love to travel,walk  their dog, and spend time with their baby girl.

Theresa - Certified Dental Assistant

Out patients often find it funny that we call Dr. Bruce’s assistant, Theresa, T-Pop. With two people named Theresa in our office, using her nickname helps to distinguish them.  Once you meet her, you can’t help but notice Theresa’s energy and enthusiasm.  She has a lot of experience in dentistry and really enjoys teaching a course in dental assisting to students who want to learn more about this exciting career.  Now that her son is grown, Theresa gets to spend more time traveling with her husband, Pat, and riding her motorbike.

April has been Dr. Bruce’s assistant for the past five years.  She loves all of the different types of dental treatment.  She has really enjoyed using her artistic flair to make the Cerec crowns that are made in the office works of art that blend in with our patients’ natural teeth. She is always doing something outdoors with her husband and two small, active children.
