CEREC (CERamic RECconstruction)  dentistry is available at Austin Park Dental and has been our favorite all ceramic crown or onlay restoration since we took ownership in 2003.  This technology allows us to make your crown or onlay "filling" and deliver it the SAME DAY and not have to experience the traditional second appointment that follows 2-3 weeks later for the delivery of your "permanent" metal/ceramic crown or have to endure wearing a temporary which can come off or break unexpectedly at the most inconvenient time.

In fact, Dr's Bruce and Lynn love the technology so much that they have incorporated a second CEREC AC unit which has the new Blu-cam technology.  Both CEREC units offer exceptionally accurate and esthetically pleasing all-ceramic restorations that are strong as the traditional metal/ceramic restorations.  When yo arrive for your crown appointment, you can expect to be in the office for appproximately 2 hours and treastment will be COMPLETED the SAME DAY.  Most of the time, we can even omit that gooey impression material that tastes horrible and can cause a "gag" reflex.
