A true Buckeye, Dr. Bruce attended Ohio State for both his undergraduate and dental education. Graduating in 1990, he continued his education by completing a general practice residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital in Cleveland. A GPR is an intense one year program in which the participating dentist is trained in all specialties of dentistry in a hospital setting.
The Mount Sinai program placed a special emphasis on oral surgery procedures. Drs. Bruce and Lynn Herpy began practicing in Barberton in 1991 following the retirement of Dr. Edward Koosed. They were privileged to merge their practice with that of Dr. Ramon Peters in 1995. They are proud to care for their dental family and to contribute to this special community.
Drs. Bruce and Lynn are not only busy at Austin Park Dental, but also at home. Married since 1988, they have four beautiful children that require a lot of energy. Family is a priority for the doctors. Dr. Bruce still finds time to do some golfing and take an annual hunting trip to Iowa for pheasants.
